This was the first year I started collecting cards. I don't know how many rack packs I opened, but it was a lot.

Hills was charging back to life AFTER bankruptcy because they hired a guy named Bozic who did well with Sears Roebuck. They were really coming back until internal struggles tore it apart and the ended up getting eaten by Ames. But Hills was making a big comeback before jagoffs ruined it.

The hobby shop I go to in Clearwater FL has the Frank Thomas No Name embedded into their large table they use for looking at cards or having discussions. They have a bunch of unbelievably rare cards in that table. The people that work there tell me the owner made the table years ago, and all cards are real.

I want to buy a lot of 90 topps rack packs if I see any. Not even one regular Thomas in there is surprising.
